The most complete printing and packaging process knowledge.
1. Four-color printing
1. The so-called four colors: blue (C), magenta (M), yellow (Y), black (K) four inks, all colors can be mixed by these four inks, and finally achieve color graphics.
2. Spot color printing
1. Spot color printing refers to printing a special color with a special ink when printing, which is brighter than the color mixed with four colors. Commonly used is the special gold, special silver.
2. There are a lot of spot colors. Refer to the Pantone color card. The spot color cannot be used for progressive printing. If necessary, add four-color printing.
3. Film-light film
1. After printing, the transparent plastic film is applied to the surface of the printed matter by hot pressing to protect and increase the gloss. The surface is bright, as shown in the figure below.
2. The most basic process for carton surface treatment. Similar to varnish, but the glue can enhance the hardness and tensile properties of the paper.
4. Film-submembrane
1. After printing, the transparent plastic film is applied to the surface of the printed matter by hot pressing to protect and increase the gloss. The surface is matte, as shown in the figure below.
2. The most basic process of carton surface treatment, similar to the varnish, but the glue can enhance the hardness and tensile properties of the paper.
5.UV
1. The printed matter needs to be highlighted to perform local glazing, so that the partial pattern has a more three-dimensional effect.
2. It is printed with the matt glue process, and it has no effect when it passes through the glue.
6. Hot stamping
1. Hot stamping is the principle of hot pressing transfer, which transfers the aluminum layer in the electrochemical aluminum to the surface of the substrate to form a special metallic luster effect.
2. The printing materials are gold, silver, red, green, blue and other colors, but the hot stamping can only be a single color, a wide variety of colors, but not all color markets.
7. Punch
1. Using a set of concave and convex templates corresponding to the yin and yang of the graphic, the substrate is placed between them, and the relief-like concave and convex text is pressed out by applying a large pressure.
2. All kinds of thickness paper can be used, and the cardboard can't be embossed.
8. Coding
1. Use the printer to print the logo (production date, shelf life, lot number, corporate logo, etc.) on the product.
2. It can print simple character patterns and is more flexible.
9. Compound bag
1. The composite bag is suitable for vacuum packaging or general packaging of food, electronic products, chemicals, medicine, tea and other products.
2. The process that can be done is basically the same as paper, which can be screen printed, printed and hot stamped.
10. Blister
1. Blister is a transparent material, the main raw material is PVC, PE, or PET.
2. It can directly replace the paper making box, or it can be combined with the card forming.
3. It can be used to fix the product inside the package, which is called blister.
4. Can be silk screen, printed, or hot stamped.
5. It can be printed on the machine, but the printing cost is high, and only a small amount of production is only used for silk screen printing.
11.OPP bag
1. OPP bag is a stretchable polypropylene, which is a kind of plastic, which is actually a plastic bag.
2. Before installing the outer box, the product will be covered with an OPP bag, which is clean and hygienic.
3. Different materials include PP plastic bags and PE plastic bags.
4. It has the characteristics of high transparency, brittleness, etc. It can also print various patterns and punches according to customers' needs.
12.EVA
1. The chemical name is ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and the finished product made of it has the characteristics of good flexibility, shock resistance, non-slip resistance and strong pressure resistance.
2. Used in the package and inside to secure and protect the product.
3. There are a variety of colors to choose from, and the surface can be flocked and wrapped in flannel to enhance the visual effect.
13. Sponge
1. It is a porous material with good elasticity. The density of the holes is different and the elasticity is different.
2. Used in the package and inside to secure and protect the product.
3. There are a variety of colors to choose from, generally used directly, no longer superimposed process.
14. Heat shrinkable bag
1. It is a transparent bag made of a material with a certain temperature shrinkage to protect the package.
2. It is only used to protect the packaging and no longer do other processes.
15. Cardboard
1. It is used to make a gift box structure with a layer of single-powder paper or special paper.
2. Common colors are black, white, gray, and yellow.
3. Cardboard thickness also has various grades, which are selected according to load bearing requirements.
4. If the single powder is used, the process is consistent with the single powder carton; if it is special paper, most of it can only be hot stamped, and some can achieve simple printing, but the printing effect is not good.
16. Specialty paper
1. There are many kinds of special papers. Here we only talk about the materials used in our packaging materials: embossed paper, pattern paper, pearl pattern paper, metal pattern paper, gold paper and so on.
2. These papers can be specially treated to improve the texture of the package. Embossed embossed can not be printed, only surface hot stamping, star color, gold, etc. can be printed in four colors.
17. Gold and silver cardboard
1. Using UV transfer technology to apply a layer of UV oil on the surface of the paper through a blanket, and then transfer the diaphragm film or a specific pattern onto the printing paper through the roller, so that the surface of the paper produces a laser beam with a laser beam effect.
2. It can only be printed by UV machine, and various pattern effects can be realized. It has more texture than ordinary paper and has different kinds of gloss. But the cost is relatively dry.
18. Silk screen
1. Through the extrusion of the squeegee, the ink is transferred to the substrate through the mesh of the graphic part to form the same graphic as the original.
2. There are a lot of silk screen colors, refer to the Pantone color card, but the gradient printing cannot be achieved.
